The overarching goal of my research program is to advance theoretical and practical understanding of memory and judgment processes, particularly as people age, in consumer and socio-cultural contexts.

Collaborative project on Genes and Cultural Acquisition receives MCubed funding. The seed grant has been awarded to Carolyn Yoon, Shinobu Kitayama (Psychology) and Israel Liberzon (Psychiatry) (http://mcubed.umich.edu/projects/genes-and-cultural-acquisition).
Carolyn Yoon has been appointed a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Society (APS). Fellow status is awarded to APS members who have made sustained outstanding contributions to the science of psychology in the areas of research, teaching, service, and/or application (http://www.psychologicalscience.org/fellows/fellows.cfm/).
